Abstract seascape ?

Sometime in your studio, you don't need a picture to create a new painting. You just draw one or 2 lines with your pencil, then this is your paints that create a landscape or seascape when they mix toghether on the paper.
What is not easy although is to create an atmosphere which tells you at the end (and at the end only !) that what you did works.

Here are two tries, the first one which suggests an island and the second one a sea shore (or a lake) with mountains.

A cerulean serie

Here are some original watercolor paintings that I made this month : the common paints are cerulean blue combined with french ultramarine, violet winsor and sepia. I tried to paint a landscape that you can imagine.

Beautiful night sky

The night sky is a truly beautiful thing, a window into the world beyond planet Earth. Starry skies have remained a part of cultures all across the world since the beginning of time as we make wishes on stars and feel inspired by the beauty above.

I tried twice to paint a night sky, each time inspired by a photograph, as I usually do.
